Queensland Minister for Innovation Kate Jones presents the award to Osler CEO Mr Jeff Ayton

Osler was yesterday named winner of the Health Tech category at the Queensland Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) iAwards, the nation’s leading awards program for innovation in the digital economy.

The award was accepted by Osler CEO Jeff Ayton, who dedicated the gong to his hardworking team.

"Osler is committed to delivering the best possible resource to the hard working clinical staff of our nation's healthcare system", he said.

"We believe that providing them with the information they need to maximise their own personal performance ultimately benefits us all as healthcare consumers.

"This award is not only a tribute to them, but to the extraordinary work of our team.  We are very proud of them"

As a recipient of the Queensland Award, Osler is now bound for the national competition, to be judged in August.

"Each year the awards shine a light on the exceptional achievements of those at the forefront of Australian innovation, and the projects shaping our modern economy," says AIIA CEO Rob Fitzpatrick.

"We're proud to provide recognition and encouragement to people prepared to bring an idea to life, enabled by technology. Whether they're in start-ups, the public sector, community services, academia, or private enterprise, small and large, the work of the finalists is an inspiration to us all."

“Queensland has continued to produce innovative organisations and projects that shine on the national and global stage.”
